The Fire of Personhood

I see you

Your ways, your thoughts, they’re far from mine,

Way different.

Behind your eyes lies a different galaxy — of thoughts, experiences — life in your skin.

I revel in your light rays: the brilliance of your expression brings forth newness.

I see me

Mirrored eyesight strips bare my facades, imitations that serve as soul garb.

My galaxy spins, restless, eager.

Breaking the fear-wall, I sing, and the universe grows bigger, draws closer, welded by the Fire of Personhood.
